Greetings from Bamako! Ann and I made it to Mali! We had angels attending over us again as we left Paris. We found our way to the train but got on the wrong one. Some people recognized we were going to the airport so they told us to switch trains. Our angel Alex from Ghana stayed with us and guided us to the direct place we needed to be. Thank you for praying! Our flight was late leaving Paris so we were late getting in. Our luggage was the last luggage to be unloaded even though we made it through the passport checkpoint in record time. Sooo that means we still waited and waited. We got our luggage , met up with Rita, then went straight to our Malian friend's house to greet her. She was so glad to see us and we were glad to see her. We will spend tomorrow afternoon with her. Please pray for opportunities to talk about spiritual things with her! It's very late/early here so I'm off to bed! More to come tomorrow!

Lookin' for Opportunities
Greetings from the Latin Quarter!
Wehad a great time! Notre Dame was incredible and a highlight of life! We asked God to place people in our lives throughout the day. He began with Justine. After our day of finding our way yesterday wewere able to help Justine find her way today!
We are off to the airport and on to Mali! We look forward to what God has for us today along the way! Praying for you all and asking God to show Himself to you today!! Thanks for taking this journey with us!

Paris, v2
Greetings from a very cold day in Paris!
God has continued to show Ann and I His Presence is with us! After arriving we boarded the train to our hotel. Two young adults here from England helped us and then toward the end of our day we saw them again at the Eiffel Tower. It was fun & almost like seeing your old friends since everyone around you is unfamiliar. We were also able to navigate around the city because of the willingness of people to guide us in the right direction. We spent some time enjoying the work of Leonardo da Vinci and other art in the Louve, riding the bus around the city, seeing the Luxemborg Palace, the Eiffel Tower, walking along the Siene River and eating crepes. The greatest blessing and demonstration of God's Presence today came at the end of our visit to the Eiffel Tower. It was late in the day and the sun was going down fast. The temperature was dropping and we could not find the right bus. I heard some people speaking English as they loaded their car. I asked them if they could help us know how to find the bus. We talked for a fewinutes then the man said they would just take us where we needed to go. We don't make a habit of getting into the car with people we don't know, but each of us knew God was watching over us at that moment. What a blessing to have God's angels attending you at a time of need. We will go visit Notre Dame tomorrow before going back to the airport. We have our eyes open and watching for God! How bout you? Greetings from Paris! Ann and I arrived safely in Paris. We found our hotel without any problems and we are heading out to see some of Paris. Thanks for praying! God blessed us by taking care of our luggage and freeing us from the burden of it around Paris! We are excited and we give thanks to God for your prayers!

Wrapping Up for Christmas
Last year I had the GREAT privilege of spending Christmas in Mali. It was great and I enjoyed being here to celebrate in a new place with my friends! This year God gave me the gift of Thanksgiving among the P people...celebrating my gratitude toward Him for the work He is doing among the nations. My time in Mali will come to an end tonight as i board the plane to head to Paris, then Cincinnati, and then to Charlotte. God is wrapping up this adventure and giving me one of the greatest gifts of all--Christmas with my family!! It has been 3 years since I have spent Christmas wit
h my family, so the gift God has wrapped for me this year is precious! I look forward to opening the gift moment by moment! I am praying for you and your families as well...praying your time with the special people of your life will be filled with the unwrapping of special memories moment by moment...whether they are biological family or friends who make up the family around you!! From village to village

w Bak, Lori P, and I spent this week traveling from village to village scouting out the activity of God. Our first day, we headed down the dirt road that sometimes looked more like a path to visit 3 villages and their chiefs. At each village we were met with the usual Malian hospitality...greetings, the best available seats, and great pleasure at our coming. One chief was talkative and very interested in our return to share stories from God's Word. One chief was so overwhelmed at our coming that all he could do was touch his heart and say, "Pa pa pa! They came to see me!" Then he proceeded to bless us over and over and over. He was an elderly chief with the most precious glisten in his eyes. He too was open to the stories being shared in his village and would not give us to road to leave until he had gifted us with a chicken. The last chief was working in his fields a great distance away, but as hospitatlity goes here...He came to greet and visit with us. He too gave us a chicken. In all the villages we prayed for the chief, the people, and the needs expressed by the chief.

We added Wa to our team and set out to greet more chiefs and see where God was working. Our first village had many connections to the village of Kar. The chief was very open to us and we were even greeted by the father of one of the women in the women's storying group in Kar. He was very interested in hearing the stories from God's Word. What a great surprise! We took our picture with him and then showed it to our friend. She was soooo excited as she looked at it and said, "That's my dad! That's my dad!" The seco

Please pray for God to prepare the way for the coming of His Son and the Good News that comes through Him. Pray for churches to adopt these villages and engage them with the Good News of J.s. Pray for the man who was so interested in following the J.s road to have the courage to follow, wisdom to discern the Truth, and peace to surrender even if it seems too hard.
